Phil Mickelson Deutsche Bank Champion Moves to BMW Championship
2007 Deutsche Bank champion Phil Mickelson will be one of the seventy golfers to proceed to the third round of the FedExCup Playoffs at the BMW Championship which will take place on Thursday outside Denver. Going by the points he ranks 56th.
Mickelson said I've been looking forward to going back to Denver for some time since the International stopped up at Castle Pines. I had some success there and I've always loved playing at that altitude and playing the golf course there."
Mickelson after winning the 1990 U. S. Amateur at Cherry Hills hasn't played there ever. BMW Championship will be hosted at the same place.
Phil Mickelson shares a wonderful relation with Jim "Bones" Mackay. The pair has been together since 1992 and has taken their caddie-player rapport from a professional level to something that is more far-fetched.
Mackay appears to understand Phil more than anyone else. In another instance the PGA Tour posted wonderful video of the duo discussing shots for golf while on the third round of the Deutsche Bank Championship.
These kinds of videos are an enjoyable experience for any golf fan. One of the great players of the game discussing playing tactics with one of the best caddies during a big tournament is something great to observe.
